People hosting 'Events'

Now I know there are people who have parties etc in their homes and ask for a contribution to food or booze - not what im on about here.

This is about people hiring apartments in city centres and posting meets where there will be girls ( normally 2) and charging guys between £25 & 50 to 'meet' them they even post mobile numbers in adverts ( for more details) this is normally where they disclose the fee to attend the 'party'

Question is - is this appropriate on a swinging site or not? Sounds like advertising a 'professional ' service to me. What's the general feeling?

Ignore them,don't make enquiries,don't go,don't pay anything.if everyone does the same these people will soon get the message n ply their trade elsewhere.

Mind you I insist on being given a shiny 20p piece on meeting ladies....

I have 40p so far!

There's a bit of it around I'm sure, but I think they'd probably be wasting their time and would probably do better on the escorting sites. I have regularly held parties in hired venues and charge a small contribution to cover my costs (usually£10/15per couple/ single male). Never made a profit yet! but its just to offset the main cost

I think its unreasonable to charge club prices for a small party. If it doesn't feel right, dont go. There's always other clubs/parties and chances are that other people get the same vibe about it.
