300g jars
When there's thought put into it and how to get us over spending for more ease.
I know very few on here can get to the remains of what's left at the bottom with a spoon
Ok a lot pour there coffee into container designed for the job but a lot also don't,
The reason I think is so we get sick of fighting trying for a spoon full through an open that's way to tight for anyone's hand to fit down.
This in my opinion is so we but the smaller jars and costs us more.
Surely Nescafe have been informed about this stupidly designed jar ?
Nescafe get your finger out and get this jar sorted!
Almost got my bloody hand stuck
Anyone else noticed this ?
Or have I just got far to much time on my hands ?

I know exactly what you mean.
It's the same as most biscuit manufacturers. In a lot of cases you find the very first biscuit and the very last biscuit in the packets are always badly broken.
This throws up the obvious question of why do they don't just put two less biscuits in the packet?....Sheesh! |

Haha if it was my mams shopping every frigging biscuit in the packet was broken, she took very little care of them rich tea  |

For tall jars I bought a couple of sundae spoons - tea spoon sized but with long handles. Job's a good'un!

Or just make a drink in the jar then tip into a mug, or just take it to the workshop if on a late one..
Just a thought, I've never done it obviously

You could tip the remaining tiny bit of coffee (normally about a teaspoon full) onto a piece of A4. Make a valley fold (told you I'm good at origami;-) )
And then pour that coffee to your cup from there.  |

Well, it is a solution to your coffee jar conundrum.
Few more options:
Shortening the jar with an angle grinder.
Lengthen the spoon with a garden cane.
Save up all the nearly empty jars and then tip them all into one jar at christmas.
Keep the jar upside down on a high shelf, and drill a hole through the shelf and lid, as a simple dispenser.
Pour hot water into the jar and drink it out of there.
Easy.
I have other ideas too, try these first though.

Ooooh the joy of breaking the seal on a new jar of coffee,,,such an innocent and simple pleasure that it can take your mind off the horror of knowing the previous jar is not quite empty yet or the anguish caused by pouring an indeterminate amount of coffee granules into a cup,just hoping,praying that it's equivalent to a teaspoonful (it has to be just right or it's completely ruined).Putting the remnants of the old jar into the new one is a disgusting idea,contaminated coffee could be deadly poisonous.Let's all have a moment of quiet contemplation as we give thanks for the invention of the long spoon,life was just awful before then.  |

Yeah there is a certain satisfaction in scraping out just enough for two slices of toast with your morning tea when you thought it was all gone. |
