Got lost within my youtube playlist for DJ mixes n found a few great mixes from 20 odd years ago
Still looking n open to suggestions,so just by naming the title of the video (I'm on through the PS4 n dunno how to copy/paste links....So kinda youtube specific this one!) tell me the title of your fave DJ mix n what kinda music you would class it as?
My fave I've found last night,it's titled......
1996-04-05-Africa Islam @ Camel club-Move CROMAPARK-E-Werk Berlin
Some quality old school techno |

Very true. There are very few artists I like that If I listen to one of their albums I'll like all the tracks on it.
I think Frank Zappa is extremely talented musically n he has a fucking gigantic catalogue of songs but I don't like most of his work...too weird n experimental for me lol.But the few songs of his I do like,I think are awesome!
Fleetwood Mac though, their album rumours....there's only one song I don't like on it.
N Black Sabbaths Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.....I think every song on it is brilliant |

Wow some like minded people on here.
Some absolute great music there.
Being from Scotland the early nineties were dominated by dance music. I was very much into the hardcore scene which had slot of ties with the Dutch and German stuff.
Then had my first trip to London in 1992 and was introduced to the jungle scene.
Such good times. Nothing feels as raw as it did back then.

I used to go to Rez a fair bit but it was one hell of a drive... About 8hrs round trip, straight there and back the following morning..
Carl Cox and Easygroove being my favourites... Loved every minute of that scene, even more than this one!

Have a look on a website called Mixcrate, loads of mixes across all genres. Also hit up soundcloud for loads of stuff, my fav is jaguar skills. If you fancy downloading off soundcloud, but cant, theres a soundcloud download website that does that for you as well |

"I find a lot of good mixes on soundcloud , just thought I would mention as everyone seems to refer to YouTube "
I would go on mixcloud for loads of awesome tunes but it doesn't work with the ps4,can't download the flash player or some such pish!
That's why I specified youtube.
Here's an awesome set for anyone that can access mixcloud though....
Michel De Hey-Hey Muzik(Fresh FM)-FM-06-19-2015
It's also on Mixing.DJ Livesets for download |
