I thought I did, til recently it showed someone as being 'less than a mile' away. As I live rurally, with a handful of neighbours. I was peering about to see in someone was parked in a lay by on the lane. |

What is the closest it shows? Have personally seen people within quarter of a mile but have seen mention of "Within touching distance " Was that a joke or does that actually come up? |

Yeah, I think it would totally freak me out too, but I'm sure I've seen to mentioned a couple of times and would like to know if it's true (in which case I'll never turn it on again!) |

Closest Ive seen is within quarter mile....although i think there must be a random element added by the webcode so its not that accurate as i have been parked up and noticed that people's distance changes with each refresh. Also their profile distance rarely matches their who's near distance.
Personally I'd like a Pokemon Fab Go version where we all show up glowing against a map or against a real backdrop.
Would be amazing.
