It's a dump;
And though it tries; just doesn't have anywhere near the proper character of the original Ace from the 60s.
When it first reopened in '94, it wasn't too bad;
But it has zero character now, and it's mostly teenage oiks in Citroen Saxos now.

I haven't done it for a few years, it ended up a bit fraught on a classic bike as your mixing in with all sorts with modern bikes brakes and performance. People rode too close and fast on modern stuff.
I'll give it a whirl on my new bonneville - but not this year..... |
