Lemonade powder we used to call it. Yellow crystals you could either dip a lolly in or use your finger, and made up into a drink and frozen in ice cube trays, scrummy. Those were the days

Back of Beyond

Currently have to be 'Summer Fruits' come backed in small round tins with a picture of a 1950's airline pilot on the lid.

Unfortunately we have only found them available on Jet 2 airline flights at the moment. Thats not so bad seeing as we fly on avaerage every 7 weeks, we just stock up with a few tins

Those cherry sours by Trebor were my faves when I was a little girl. Round boiled sweet covered in raised dots and wrapped in white waxed paper.

I buy proper sports mixtures or midget gems with the liquorice ones in them - Lion ones you can just get them from the independent sweetshops mostly.Nice to keep in the car.

Cant stand Maynards gums. Weird tasting.

" sherbet dip....

"

Have you ever snorted a sherbet dip through the liquorice tube up your hooter? Serious pain. Brain freeze, choking, frothing at mouth and eyes like Marty Feldman. Terrible thing collective boredom

Used to love 'cough drops'.

P.S. That's the second time I've used 'collective' today
