I'm ready quite a few unhappy people complaining about time wasters and fake accounts. Surprisingly both couples, females and single guys. Is Fab admin aware people are unhappy?  |

We are happy........ always happy to reply to messages, give opinions on forum and share our positivity.......have only moaned once - and thatwas after I drove to meet a man and he didn't turn up - twice - I have him two chances, I drove for 50mins the 1st time and 90mins the 2nd time - he apologised the day after the 1st time but no apologies the 2nd time - he just never turned up. Grrrrrrr ?? |

Jesus wept!!! Pray tell how you expect Admin to "cure" unhappiness?!! Being on Fab isn't mandatory. If it makes you unhappy and you're too dim to press "delete account" and take up whatever floats your boat, then oh well!!!  |

What can admin fo about it? There are fakes and time wasters on paid sites as well. Forcing people to get verified within a certain time frame will deter more genuine people.
It's OK being cynical bur perhaps bring some ideas to the table too. |

Some are happy on here, otherwise they would leave. Like me - no sex from the site, even private messages are rare but i stay because the forums are fun.
Some people are unhappy unless EVERYTHING goes their way. |

I am pretty sure that admin have read some of the posts complaining about this, that and the other.
Thing is, admin never promised this, that or the other.
They don't make any wild claims.
They provide a site for people to use.
Despite you saying that people are 'unhappy' , i'm guessing they fill their happiness void with something else entirely. Where else would all their wind come from ? |

The site is what you make of it.
In fairness I was on another site before this one (for 3 years!) and that one was much worse for fakes and there weren't many local men. You also had to pay to get anything from the site.

I am happy, I like the site just as it is.
OP, I am guessing you are also happy, you are still here after all.
If you have a solution to sensibly identify fakes and time wasters write it in a book and sell it, you could make a fortune. just about every social website in the world would buy it. |

Like everything, it's what you make it. No-one can change the fact that there are timewasters, all you can control is how you deal with it.
Move on, find other people, don't waste time on fakes and timewasters and stop moaning about something that you can't change.

You will never eradicate time wasters as the definition is so wide. However, you can minimise your exposure to people out for playing the fool with someone else's time.

You make your own happiness from Fab. If Fab doesn't make you happy then don't use it. It's not suitable for everybody, it doesn't work for everybody. And with regards timewasters and fakes, we've never knowingly stumbled across them. |

The forum is just a small number of site members, admin already do do something about fake accounts, they take them down when reported and have measures they take against members other members report.
As for time wasters yes there are loads, some are dreamers and fantasists but the label of time waster is used too frequently, it's applied to people who chat but decide not to meet, it's only through chatting a lot of people can determine if they wish to meet or not, so that is not time wasting.
The site is what you make it, you have to work at it.
Too many members have unrealistic expectations and too many people treat other members like free prostitutes, gigalos or sex toys.

We are happy. Its an internet site i would be surprised if there werent fakes and time wasters. Even on paid sites you get them. No point moaning just block and move on |

Personally I think fab is brilliant. I am a single bloke and get far more hassles using dating sites, hence back on fab again as it's easier and more fun |

Only a small percentage are fake or time wasters & its the same on most swinging sites, I would go as far as saying Fab is one of the better sites.
Admin can't do much about time wasters as its impossible to dictate what others can/can't do, most people are quite happy with the site. |

I think fab goes in waves sometimes it's up sometimes it's down, you can have a great few months and then go a couple of months of just dross and half wits and fakes and time wasters, at the minute we are in the latter hoping it changes soon |

Life is sweet - yes you get approaches like the one I had today from "user no longer on the site."
But then you also get ones like the mail I had on Friday where we met on Saturday and had a good time out in the sunshine - so I had fun and got some sun on my buns too.

The people that are " unhappy" are just the fucking moaners, who probably moan about everything, and ( increasingly like more of society ) want everything handed to them on a plate, rather than go out and sort stuff out for themselves .

I think your reading to much into it OP.
not saying the posters your post is referring to are not a bit pissed off but I'm sure that in some circumstances the real motive behind said posts is to drum up interest from like minded souls .
it would be interesting to know what percentage of such posts lead to meets from like minded souls who read the post . |

I can see in one sense why some users maybe unhappy - but it's sour milk.
For the best part, everybody knows this site is populated with single guys assuming it's just a grab a shag site. Some "ladies" too (as I've learned). When they discover it's not - well... Cest la vie!
And then the time wasters messing genuine users about - but you soldier on. But life goes on.
