Not really into horror films persay, but Event Horizon always freaks me out, just something about it that really unnerves me and creeps me out.
Bought the DVD a year ago, still not picked up the courage to unwrap it yet and watch it because it gets to me that much.

Willy Wonka Judging by the Gene Wilder thread I must be in the minority though. I can't do scary movies since having children, I have no idea why that is though. When I did watch them The Descent had me peeking out from behind a cushion, as did The Ring. |

I can't do scary. I thought Gremlins was a horror film. I had nightmares after RoboCop.
My niece was allowed to see Pirates of the Caribbean before she was 12 based on the fact that I didn't find it scary. |

"Can't beat the old school ones like halloween for one
And Amityville Horror
The Children of the Corn. Love that film."
I first watched that aged 10 with my brother, who was 8. To say I was terrified would be an understatement! |

Not my cup of tea horror-wise but:
Annabelle
Mama
Orphan
The Quiet Ones

Not the film version, but the play of The Woman In Black really made me jump!
The original of Salem's Lot, even though it's dated. Absolutely love Carrie & Halloween too. |

I have never been scared of a horror movie, well not since I was 10 and the BBC used to show those black n white horror classics on a Saturday night, The Mummy, Wolfman, Dracular with Christopher Lee.
But now I'm all growded up I don't find horror films scary, some are repulsive like The hostel and Saw, but they just bore me not scare me. |

"I am yet to find a horror movie scary... "
I don't find horror scary at all. I have an extensive horror collection and have watched many more. Have been a bit grossed out by the odd film, usually ones that contain achilles heels being slashed, but never scared.
A Serbian Film made me a little sick to my stomach in some places, but that's about the closet. |

I still think that the old black and white movies are the scariest, very atmospheric, for me the scariest movie is the curse of the mummy, a 1938 ish Boris Karloff film |
