I'm truly curious as I'm watching the new comedy special on netflix....do Europeans find Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy funny? I know that's not really a yes or no question due to personal tastes...lots of Americans don't find them funny either but the differing sense of humor fascinates me |

I struggle with a lot of what seems like a thin line between slapstick theater and some American comedy shows. I sometimes feel I'm being spoon fed the ingredients leading to the gag, so it doesn't get missed.
I've not seen this show. What do you think of UK comedy op? |

The special i was referring to is stand-up, a different dynamic than you find in sitcoms or movies. As far as UK comedy...i honestly don't know, i don't think I've seen any and definitely know that ive never heard an English stand-up. |
