I've had a beard or stubble for over 15 years. Don't like to be clean shaven. Just uploaded a pic of me on Cap D'Adge sporting stubble and cowboy hat. Clint Eastwood eat ya heart out |

I ussd to have a beard it takes different times for different people for the itchiness to go but for me its about week 4 i would buy some beard oil and start applying that it will put natural oils back in and make the hair softer plus if you get a ceder oil you can smell as well as look like a lumberjack and we all know chicks dig a lumberjack

It may come sooner stick with it if you shampoo and condition it it will feel much smoother and less itchy (i know it sounds daft to shampoo and condition really short hair) trust me |

Just keep going, don't scratch and get a good trimmer for when you get there. |
