I don't know the full facts of the reasoning behind the original sentence. It might have been too lenient but then again it might have been in accordance with sentencing guidelines.
He was given a community sentence order, failed to do the work and laughed about it on social media.
He was resentenced to probation. He failed to comply and laughed about it on social media.
He was resentenced to imprisonment (by which time he was already inside for another crime).
Certainly not the brightest individual. |
