Are you comparing this to meeting them in the real world.
I think anyone is putting themselves right 'out there' if they are the one making first contact. Even to say 'want to meet'? After a lot of exchange in conversation, can come accord as creepy or at least a little awkward. I like being forward, life is to short and after all, what is this website here for, and why did we sign up? |

How do you start off your conversations on here?"
I would usually start of by introducing myself by my name and then depending on what I have seen via there profile proceed to ask a question lol |

Some (myself included) don't express themselves as well online as they work in jobs which rely on verbal communication rather than electronic communications like email.
Personally communicating via keyboard feels a bit Unnatural So I don't always get my point across particularly well or as quickly as I'd like to. |
