"If I can, I try to avoid bread altogether as I find it bloats me ... white bread especially "
I'm the same.
I can't have wholemeal with soup or toasted cheese sandwiches it had to be white. |

I really don't eat a lot of bread anymore. Not sure what's happened to bread in recent years but a lot of it tastes like crap. Warburton's do a white loaf which is edible. That's the only bread I like. |

"I only eat sourdough now, yes I know hipster central, but it's made differently and I don't have any digestion problems anymore. "
Iv seen this and had it before.
I'd stick to it but at roughly £1.50 for about 6/8 slices, I feel cheated |

Takes a bit of time to get used to but I'd never buy white again. I find it too sweet and tasteless.
Could never do without real butter though. I hate spread. |

Yes The fresh, homemade breads are gorgeous. It's the pre-packed stuff I can't stomach. |

If you get it sliced and keep it in the fridge it lasts a week. It's helped me to cut down on bread and I've lost a stone into the bargain! |

I choose granary or seeded bread, because I prefer the taste and it's better for you than white. I don't eat much bread or wheat based products though because they give me a stomach ache. |

Wholemeal contains all the fibre , vitamins and nutrients .
White is just stodge....
Depends whether you live to eat or whether you eat to live I guess as to which you choose .

"Iv not long had a wholemeal bagel (thinking wholemeal is better for me)
It was disgusting. "
No idea why anyone would eat bread these days and the only difference between white and wholemeal is the colouring they add to it. |

Have you tried M & S own crusty bread? You won't be able to stop eating it"
Yes, and unfortunately I work right next to M&S so the lunchtime bread based temptation is huge! |

"When in France I can't stop eating baguettes. They don't make it home from the bakery! Back in Blighty white bread is plastic stodge and I avoid it. " First time I can remember seeing a fly flying around thee open bread section in our local co-op store I saw it land on some open type baguettes with currents in it stayed in that area and I Immediately mentioned it to staff in there but any uptake mentioned seemed to fall on deaf ears for a while even just a slight chance would put me off buying any now in such stores with or without any flys present, whenever in bigger stores like asda I can never remember seeing any flys about in such areas that itself is somewhat of a mystery.. |
