I don't think it does! As long as its legal, it doesn't matter...

Children, and people's preferences.

Go to clubs, get to know people. Age occasionally goes out of the window.

"Why is age a matter"

Age doesn't matter.

However we all have choices for what we are looking for and age can be a great way to slim the field down.

I prefer younger men to older men. But the youngest I'll go is 20. xxx

For me it's not their actual age that matters, but how young they look. I'm just not attracted to really young looking people. They could be my age, but if they look 21, i'm out.

Age only seems to matter to those who are too young ..,

As they are the ones that keep spouting age is just a number

...Whilst having age limits of their own. They can have choices but watch the sense of entitlement if they're excluded!

I think you should lower your age limit

Or ones who feel they are being excluded because they are too old.

We hear a lot about how their experience should mean people overlook that their age isn't within their preferred range.

Well, _obviously_ it's clear why people don't want to shag wrinkled oldies, but WHY would anyone turn down such an amazing example of youthful vitality? It's incomprehensible!

Of course it isn't just a number!

My choice, my preference, I meet whoever interests me and whether they are on the same wavelength as me

It happens constantly, mainly from women who say (in disgust) "I've got a son who is older than that".

I've never understood the logic behind that statement though.

Whilst it doesn't apply to me, I do have nephews of a certain age but I don't meet anyone under 40 anyway ...

I much prefer experience over enthusiasm

Central

A lot of people have a good knowledge of what kind of people that they find attractive. If someone doesn't feel it for someone then a meet isn't going to happen. When one has sufficient choice, there's no need to have to compromise and settle for what only is somewhat interesting.

I prefer younger, so just target people like me.
