When i was a kid we used to play a game on long car journeys called 'pub cricket' when it was your turn to " bat" the next pub to be seen was scored by how many legs there were in the pub name , so the black lion would be 4 'runs" but the
railway tavern would be none and your out, so i always swore if i ever got a pub it would be called
" The caterpillar and Babies"! |
