I am not,but I'm getting bored with the same old ingredients.

I want something different that isn't expensive or too fatty.

I've done tuna, chicken, turkey and beans to death.

Don't eat pastry, pilchards are too fishy for salad, steak is red meat that I don't eat often. I have boiled eggs sometimes with my salad.

Cashews sound nice. I've added fennel, chicory and mange tout for a change. I use a variety of salad ingredients,it's the protein I'm bored with.

Its actually quite sad - I went to Peru a few years ago and the locals were telling us that quinoa used to be a regular part of their diet, but then it because popular in the US so all of the companies export it so they can sell it for way higher prices abroad.

Iceland do the frozen pre made bags in the super food section along with endame beans and other really good protein sources only £1 and delicious hot or cold x

I'll have a look at that. I try to stick to fresh food to avoid additives and chemicals used to prolong shelf life. It means a lot of reading packaging and scratching my head.

Have a look at muscle foods. Hache steaks are great or a good salad with nuts, seeds and biltong as a snack.

Can be so hard to keep it interesting so cold noodle salads with chilli sauce can help too.

I did have a look,I don't want big quantities of meat because we don't eat it and my freezer isn't working properly at the moment. Noodles could be an option when I have carbs with my dinner. I haven't heard of hache or biltong.

one whole large and ripe mango to half-ish a red onion, generous handful of chopped fresh coriander, juice of half a lime and chopped fresh chilli. I never thought I would like fruit in the mix, bit it is really refreshing and tasty!

Well firstly, it's definitely bad for you - it's cooked meat.

Secondly, yeah, bbqing meat creates a chemical reaction making it potentially carcinogenic.
