Today, twice, cars have pulled out straight in front of me and then driven at a snails pace. I wasn't driving madly fast and behind me the road was clear. I've been feeling poorly and decided they were all out to get me today.
What gets to you when driving?

When someone drives at 30-40 through a 60 zone, then when they get to a 30 they speed off as fast as they can, then you catch them up at the next 60 zone going 30 again!!! |

I nearly knocked down 2 ladies with prams earlier as they went to cross the road directly behind as I was about to reverse, they went beserk.
to be fair it was my fault as I could have looked multiple times behind me and it was unreasonable to ask them to use the 2 pedestrian crossings both 40 yards either side of my car. |

Traffic lights that are deliberately phased by councils to specifically interrupt and stop the flow of traffic.
It's not exactly environmentally friendly to make a car stop for no reason with no other traffic in sight at 2.00am is it? |

"Other vehicles cutting across all lanes on a roundabout or being in the wrong lane and nearly driving into me "
I hate that too we lube by a very busy roundabout and every day ppl are in the wrong lane and cut me up. Or they don't look at the correct set of traffic lights and come through on red. |

1. Cars that don't seem to have any indicators
2. Learner drivers where the instructor lets them weave in and out of lanes on a
Standard road
3. Those who slow down to come off the slip road onto the motorway
4. Those who like to drive right up the arse of me, I will not go over the speed limit as I value my license that I only acquired in March
5. Those who like to break and slow down to almost stopping on a 30 road to
Go over a speed hump, of
You've to break to go over it then you're going too fast |

Not so.much annoying, more amusing...people who seem to assume you can stop/are paying attention/are not a psycho. EG the guy who pulled in front of me about 10 mins ago and just sat half way across the road looking at me. (I was coming down hill, weighing 44 tonnes at the time). My only thought was 'this will hurt you a lot more than it hurts me'...Unfortunately,I just missed him. |

"When people on the motorway sit in the middle lane for no reason "
On a reasonably clear motorway this is actually quite fun as you can drive right up to them on the inside, indicate out and go all the way across from lane 1 to lane 3, pass, then do the same in reverse. Still amazes me that less than a quarter get the hint. |

Morons who don't look before they pull out. Not long back I was being over taken by a motor bike, when someone pulled out on the other side of the road across in front of me. The biker swerved back in,but clipped the front of my car and came off. We stopped with me unable to see him, and my car has a very short bonnet! Luckily all fine, the other car sped off but reg was caught on the car coming the other ways dash cam. |

When the driver who was idling down the motorway at 60 and I've just overtaken feels the need to overtake me at 70, pull in far to close and then slow down to 55 MPH. I seem to get it a lot, I guess being overtaken by a scooter is just too much of a threat to their self-esteem. |

My biggest annoyance is motorway slip roads not being used correctly and then people trying to join traffic at 40mhp
Another thing I've noticed is the way other drivers react to you depending on what car you're driving.
Out of the three cars is generally use its amazing the difference in other drivers behaviours.
Civic - get a few nobs tailgating and trying to push me down the road.
Range Rover - generally left alone with no drama
Subaru - every fucker wants to try race/tailgates |

People, usually older people wearing a cap or a hat, who drive every road at 40 no matter what the speed limit. In a 30 zone they do 40, in a 50 60 or National Limit area they still do 40.
They always seem to drive in the middle of the road, until there's a car coming the other way, then they suddenly slow to 15 Mph and sharply pull in so close to the kerb that it's surprising they don't hit it, before the millisecond the cars gone past, swerving manically back out at almost 90 degrees and resuming the 40 Mph journey , argh !!!!! |

That's the point! I only borrow the Subaru/range rover when I need to. I was in the Subaru driving down the motorway at 70...uses a lot of fuel once you start going any faster, and had a Toyota Yaris tailgating me trying to push me down the motorway
Was even worse when I had my 207 s16 a few years back, that was more hassle than it was worth! It wasn't fast at all though... |

When I'm innocently driving along, keeping within the speed limit, giving correct signals in good time and generally being a paragon of virtue then I switch the radio on and my ears are assaulted by the sound of Steve bloody Wright.
What did I ever do wrong to deserve that? Makes any journey into the road to hell. |

Are you insane, you can't expect two mothers with prams, to walk 40 yards to a crossing.
People who drive to slow, people who don't indicate,
People who get in the wrong lane and expect to be let in,
People who tailgate,
People who dump their litter out of the window,
People who think they are in a race car,
People who run red lights,
People who have no idea how to drive on roundabouts,
People who don't give enough courtesy to bikers.

People who undertake on the motorway when your not hogging the middle lane or going too slow but because in fact they are knobs
People who overtake on the motorway then swerve right in front of you to get off at their junction just in time to make it before the road runs out...just stay behind me and exit properly you fucking retard!
Learner drivers NOT being taught to indicate when overtaking and at roundabouts...it's a thing and it's bloody ridiculous that they don't teach them this basic courtesy that let's others know what maneuver you intend making |

Drivers joining a dual carriageway / motorway who think just because they are indicating don't have to look, or expect you to change lane (especially if you cant).
Drivers who insist on driving in lane 2 of a motorway when lane 1 is clear. They effectively reduce it to a 2 lane motorway - if it was supposed to be that, millions wouldn't have been spent making it 3 lanes!
Drivers who are blissfully unaware of what's going on around them. |

I have a theory about speeders that they drive so fast because they have just left a place where people couldn't wait to be rid of them and they are going somewhere where no one will wait for them.
I,on the other hand, take my time and stay cool and calm because,,,well, because I'm worth waiting for.
Tailgaters just make me slow down that little bit more...it's for their own good. |

"The myth that everyone seems to believe that cars have to stop for you at a zebra crossing!"
Au contraire
Taken from the Highway Code.
Rule 195
Zebra crossings. As you approach a zebra crossing
look out for pedestrians waiting to cross and be ready to slow down or stop to let them cross
you MUST give way when a pedestrian has moved onto a crossing
allow more time for stopping on wet or icy roads
do not wave or use your horn to invite pedestrians across; this could be dangerous if another vehicle is approaching
be aware of pedestrians approaching from the side of the crossing.
A zebra crossing with a central island is two separate crossings (see ‘Crossings’). |

I thought they were built for use by the general public as well as commercial traffic.
You do know that road tax is not paid into a special secured governmental Road Tax fund and spent on roads? It all goes to government income. How much is actually spent on roads is down to many factors. |

Its still illegal and changing lanes isn't always possible. Highway code says to create more space on front of you if being tailgated so yoi don't have to brake sharply. |

Sorry but frankly this is total tosh. People generally tailgate because they are bad, inconsiderate drivers (although it is sometimes impossible not to as on some roads whenever you try and leave a safe stopping distance at least one, if not more, vehicles will occupy it). But then your _iew on this fits with your idea that everyone needs to get out of the way to let you on to the motorway probably regardless of what else is going on (or what is said under rules 259 and 264 of the Highway Code). |

"Personally I think the driving test should include an IQ test. Thick cunts should stay off the road, driving safely is 100% common sense. "
Sorry but I tests have nothing to do with common sense. I have worked with enough brilliant people with staggeringly high IQs but some of them have had virtually no common sense. |

"Cyclists do my nut in
if a polite one who cycles well in at the side of the road, then I take my time, give plenty room and politely pass with appreciation,
if twats who cycle two abreast and will not pull in then once passed, the window is rolled down and the box of tac's & drawing pins are released, have a nice day now
Aaannnd the prat of the day award goes to...
What a bloody good idea, wish I'd thought of that.
Lycra louts who ride in packs like the tour de France are fu***ng pain and a danger to other road users."
yep, drawing pins do nothing to a car but straight through a bicycle tyre, so I have been told anyway |

There must be some people reading these posts.. thinking:
"actually, I often don't indicate"
"I always drive in the middle lane"
Etc
If that's what you're thinking, then please stop it! You're driving like a nob! |

Is this post for real? What about when the motorway is busy, everyone's doing a steady 70 and there's some arsehole tailgating you, right up your arse. Where do they intend on going? They then tailgate the next person. And the next. Until they get to wherever is so important to be that 8 seconds earlier than the considerate drivers. Pink shirt guy clearly a frequent tailgater. |

Mostly for me other drivers... Real pet hates seem to be that since the m1 went to four lanes near me.. That people even at 2am.. Drive in the 3rd lane when NOTHING is in the other lane... Causing me to move out across four lanes then back...
OH and people like the idiot that moved to block the bikes getting through traffic today... |

New drivers are not the problem. Its the ive been driving 20 years plus ones that are. Some, should take a retest and eyesight test. |
