Usually peeps hid there pro if something in the real world needs them or if they ain't meeting atm. It's better then deleting and losing thier veris. Xxx |

If I'm not using it for a short while, e.g. because I'm on holiday or something then I'll hide it. If I'm not using it for a longer period I'll delete it. If I was a man, I wouldn't delete because it's difficult for them to get going again. |

Loads of reasons to hide a profile. Taking a break, wanting to browse and not be bothered, getting through messages without getting more, just using the forums, the list goes on. Me thinks you think too much OP!! Don't worry about it, I really don't care how others run their profiles, it doesn't affect me in the slightest. |

When i cant be arsed to message ppl. And just want to nosie, or come on the threads.
When iv got someone watching how often im online. As most people dont realise if thier on your hotlist your still time stampes lol x |

Because people will still message you and it's a waste of your time and theirs. Because you don't want them to read your profile and think you're available to meet. Why not hide? That's what the feature is there for. |

We went to France for two weeks. I didn't want to come back to an inbox full of "Hey, how's you?" So we hid our profile.
Worked like a charm. We only got messages from our friends and all was great   |

How exactly does it affect you OP? Not missing any point. I don't want messages i hide. When i decide to log on again i don't have to delete a backlog of messages. |

Why do people come a site like this?, why do they write a profile?, put pictures up etc? ....perhaps Op stop worrying about others and enjoy yourself on here, as that's what it's all about. |

I think your the one missing the point.
It's a option to use. People use it for many different reasons.
Plus, I don't think it's anyone else's business how others use there profile. If you happen to click one that's hidden then just move on. |

Just because I'm not fucking strangers doesn't mean I can't still use the forums, keep in touch with friends.
Hiding my profile means I don't get people mailing me, wasting their time and mine by getting in contact.
Fab gives me the facility to hide so I use it. |

i hide my profile sometimes.......it's usually when i getting unwanted attention and sometimes someone has looked at your profile 10 times in the one days.....it can be unnerving .......or sometimes you just want a break |

The last time my profile was hidden was when I was last pregnant so not meeting during that time, so there was no point in people messaging me asking to meet and hidden profile don't appear in searches.
That way I could still enjoy participating in the forums and chat to friends without being pestered |
