Ok. Let's see if I can stir up another fight. lol.

Some of use have good memories and some not. Not a criticism, just a fact. Having said that. After making contact with someone and subsequent messages back and forth. How is it perceived if you delete messages from that person. Especially if they are a friend...? I only ask because I feel it is like throwing something away even though we have a good repore.

What is the general consensus please.

Thanks.

Mav.

If the rapport is there does it really matter whether you keep the messages or not?

Its not as if messages are from loved ones being sent to the trenches in WW1. Read enjoy, and move onto the next message u receive.

Do you mean replied and deleted?

Fine, I do it but keep the last message so I can read the thread still.

They need deleting as the old ones fall off the bottom of the page and can't be read anyway.

Everyone is different in how they manage their own mail boxes. Don't see the issue here.

I, like most women I suspect, have to delete messages because they run off the page.

If it's a particularly important message then save it.

I also don't look to see if my messages are deleted

If they are a site supporter they can still see the past email trail even if they delete some. It just makes it easier to keep on top of mail.

Thanks guys and Gals.

Given me something to think over. Personally. I don't mind. It just popped on conversation with one of my friends. And I got the impression, she was a little ticked off that I had deleted messages.

I agree mostly with the comments given and disagree with a few. I won't say which. But for now ( well exception to one friend) I'll continue as I have done.

Thanks for the feed back.

I'm sure I'll stir up another hornets nest at some point. But until then.

Happy Fabbing

Mav

I tend to forget to reply to messages from friends. I think they just get used to it
