This for me, I was seeing someone casually further away, but then after a year he wanted to get serious and move in and I wasn't in the same place.
Suppose it could work if your both on the same page and want the same things. Best of luck. |

Marc and I had a long distance relationship for 3 years while I was in law school. It turned out great
I think long distance can work if the people involved want it enough. But I eventually gave up pursuing my career in order to move and be with him. I wouldn't have wanted long term for any more time then we already did. |

I had the exact same thing. I was basses in Germany. Things were fine and worked out great. It does work if you make it. |

they do work, if all parties involved put in the effort. and it takes a lot of that. texts, letters, skype and visits.
patience, trust and understanding. but i guess you need that for any other relationship too, just a bit more in long distance. |

When Mrs N and I first met we were separated by 200 miles for a couple of years. We've been together for 14 years married for 10 of those years. I'd say that was pretty successful |
