Done it in a VW Caravanette - don't see why you couldn't with any other vehicle.

you looking to fit a "Gear Shift Assistant Pro" ???

I believe it only fits the 2014 model

Although I have not ridden the 1200r, I believe you should and can change gear without clutch when shutting back on throttle, I am not 100% if this can be done with throttle still up the rev band

Yes you can just not best for the gearbox especially changing down without clutch

You should be able to if it's a conventional cassette type gearbox.

But BMW being BMW will probably have some electrickery that eliminates down shifts to prevent wear.

Only ridden the K1200R that a mate had and it was a beast of a bike. Plenty power lol.
