Seriously have just been asked out for a social, little walk and a chat. He wanted to meet now! After explaining that I couldn't do it today as I am a Single mum and needed notice to get a sitter he told me to bring them with me!!

Lol....really? I feel that would be very irresponsible of me.

He didn't understand this.

This is a new one to me.

I've had that before. Also guys that tell me what I should do with my kids just so I could meet them.

Guys even told me to put them to bed so they could come over.

My kids come first! I only meet when I have the time and my kids are happy. Not when I get told to do it!

As for bringing the kids along.....seriously? What is wrong with men???

actually a friend of mine, her father used to bring her to meets with women.

She didn't understand for years why she was left alone in a strange room for ages.

Dawned on her some time later and it took years of therapy to overcome it all.

Years ago when we were young and naive, we had a social meet early afternoon with a couple. Decided to meet them later on that evening for some fun. We were at there house, chatting. Heard noises upstairs. We asked them what was going on. They said their 6 year old son was in his room and not too worry about it.

We got the hell out of there.

Well given the number of people whose posts suggest their children are an inconvenience who get in the way of them getting laid, I'm not hugely surprised.

he knows what a social means i guess, like there will be no sex involved.

i've taken my kids out with someone i had casual sex with, he also used to buy them takeaways if he wanted to get us one. some people just aren't a threat to your kids, that is all. in fact most people aren't but you won't know who is and that's the problem.

depends how old your kids are but i think they should know there are other options available to them than monogamy.

Right this might be a bit controversial from me and whilst id never actually do that and agree with everyone id probs block for even suggesting it..

but realistically is he not just another man, another stranger you could easily walk past in a park with your children there... do you have male friends?

the difference is you exchanged a few messages via a swingers website and suddenly its perverse to suggest that a man from online is suddenly wrong ..

yet by total fluke you could in fact pass this guy in the street or whilst shopping one day and yet there is no malice or ill inetent there?

If I had young children I wouldn't even mention it on here let alone take them to a social or invite someone to my house from here. I know it could be argued that you could meet a man or woman in a bar etc but I would apply the same rules.

I never implied that I thought he was a pervert!

Just a man that I don't know suggesting a nice country walk. Maybe I am over protective of my children but I don't tend to introduce them to anyone new until I feel I know them myself. I also don't feel I would want to have to lie about who he is or why we are meeting him.

I would definitely feel uncomfortable meeting with anyone who decided to bring their children along.

I had heard of one twat of a bloke who wanted to meet mother's so he could take his kid for them to play downstairs with her kids while he played with the mum upstairs!

That's not going to mess your kids up to much!
