"Can I have my holiday first before we start talking about Christmas."

Not if your holiday isn't until the 26th December

I'd like to think it's to help people spread the cost of the holiday season but the cynic in me thinks it's to sell more sweets. It seems the retail sector isn't wholly on board with the childhood obesity thing.

would be interesting to see the sellby dates on them! i am sure oneof the supermarkets were selling short date mince pies early last year meaning people were buying twice as many thinking they were being clever getting in early.

quite tip though folks.....just because there is christmas stuff in the shops.....doesnt mean you have to buy it lol

Of course it's to sell more sweets 'cos people like me buy them now but can't resist eating them and then have to buy more before Xmas!

I usually laugh when the mince pies appear on the shelves with sell by dates that are before Christmas!!!

Christmas menus are out too on in your face tables just inside the main doors of large restaurant chains.

Apparently the USA McDonalds do breakfast all day long now. I've not been in one to try and I detest the stuff called bacon here that's worse and fattier than streaky.
