Ok so I have been give my and address and told that my friend on here is free today to meet.

What's the etiquette on showing up? Usually I have a number or time that I call and know to go round at?

What would you do.

I got the address and told that she is free today. Do I just rock up?

The only reason I'm considering is that we have been chatting for ages and she is verified....but I get your point!

Verifications don't necessarily prove someone is genuine.

Can you message and ask for a time? It's unusual to say, any time will do. In my opinion.

If you've been chatting ages just ask her what time you should go there. If she doesn't say a time say alright I'll be there at 10am, when she doesn't reply saying it's ok to go there at 10am, go there anyway and see that it isn't her house. Sounds a bit fishy to me, or that she's one of those people that has an immaculate house all the time or that her house is a tip and doesn't care.

Op, if it's a genuine query, without confirmation on the day, or a between time (10-6) no way would I just turn up.

I think I'm far too trusting.

In the years I have been here I haven't had any issues with anyone and all have been very genuine people.

I guess I'm working on that basis.

Always ALWAYS confirm a time and location, and always be exactly on time even if it means you have to sit around for 5 or 10 mins before hand.

I've met a few single women (though not verified) on sites like this who did a similar thing.

Once I got a time and date for the arrival, along with an adress, but did not have their number and found that they had lied to me and directed me to a strangers house. Funny how I never got to meet them.

I'd say always have someones phone number to confirm that they are real - I often exchange a few texts before. Plus it helps if you get held up or there's a problem finding them.
