Oh woe is me I dropped my new phone in the blumming sink.

Its sat in a bowl of dry rice and fingers crossed .

Tea and sympathy needed please

Remove battery and cards before drying. Add those silica crystal pouches that you get with new electrical goods -I always save them.

Use a hair dryer on it ..an make sure you dont get any rice in any crevices

I had a z3 overheated on charge after 2 months. Burnt the table, they sent me a replacement that was smashed when I opened the box, they wouldn't replace it. Said I should've checked before signing for it!

mine fell in the loo last week. if it is an iphone get the tools to open the back asap. dispite being under for only seconds and straight into a rice bag I I had corrosion on the home button within 12hours the downside with rice is as the water evaporates minerals are left behind than can still cause damage. some recommend drowning it in a bath of 95%+ alcohol to flush out the water (and minerals) and then dry it out.
