I was considering a meet with someone who lives a couple of streets away, about 100m he's seen me about and checked me out, so he propositioned me.
Anyone had a similar meet? |

We had a social with a male individual who after meeting we realised he lived about 20 doors away from us our first question was how come your wife isn't meeting to which the reply was she doesn't know I do this to which we replied okay have fun with that goodbye |

there's a guy i met who's a bit further away, 10 min walk or so and i did bump into him a few times but nothing bad happened with him and he was discreet.
a meet from the next town is the one i've had the most problems with because if he's in the area he seems to think he can just turn up at mine for a fuck, i've told him a few times now that i'm not interested.
it's more down to the person themselves really, rather than location. |

I went on who's near and blocked all profiles within 15 miles. I may have closed doors on some great meets. But I live in a small rural town, 6 degrees of separation doesn't apply here, it's more like 2 or 3 at best. 1 lack of discretion and I'd be gossip fodder. That's something I'd prefer to avoid, so have tried to minimise the risk.x |

Not on this site, but when I was first single I joined a few dating sites and got chatting to a very charming man. We had many evenings of lovely chats and banter with so much in common. Neither of us had profile pics and then one evening agreed to share pics. He sent his pic first and OMG when I received it, not only was he handsome but a work colleague and we shared the same office 
Needless to say, straight away I tried call off our online friendship as he hadn't seen my pic, but then after many nights of messages from him which I kept ignoring in hope he would move on, I decided to come clean. That night we decided to meet at a local pub for drink and that was the start of a six month NSA relationship. 
To this day we have remained friends and chat regularly on facebook as he no longer works with me.  |

I take the view we are all here to enjoy ourselves so the distance really doesn't bother me. |

I did this straight after getting a message from a single guy who told me what road he lived on, has just just moved in.was the same road as me and I'd had new next door neighbours move in a few days prior, who I'd not yet met as I'd been away for the weekend.  he attach a face pic, and thankfully it turned out not to be nextdoor, but I've since met him after some arsehole set fire to a lot of wheels bin's in the early hours. Turns out he's 8 doors away very very tasty

Maybe I'm too trusting, I would never mix life on here with real life, if I happened to have a meet with a local couple and bumped into them in the park or supermarket with kids etc I would act totally normally. Everyone on here has the right to discretion. |
