In a sense, yes. And not in a personal way. If someone makes a point, imparts some knowledge, educates, does it need a parting shot at the end? It comes across as condescending. Just sayin....

The same sentence can be interpreted differently depending on whether read it, or hear it.

I am developing an irrational loathing, bordering on Markoh Thursday Rant worthy levels or irksome, with messages that have a pointless 'LOL' or 'LMAO' tagged onto the end.

It seems to be a trend to try to humanise a shite fancy a fuck message as if "Hey, gorgeous, fancy a fuck. LOL" is somehow more appealing.

Or "Yeh bbe, read wot ur lookin 4, thought I'd chance it. LMAO".

(Wow, typing in Yoof, takes more concentration than English).

They add the lol so that if the woman replies indignantly (rather than the hoped for 'oh yes please fuck me now') they can say 'no need to get upset, I was only joking'

I used #justsayin at the end of the post yesterday so I must be really annoying.

I think these little sayings are sometimes a way of introducing personality / life into words on a screen.

If I was constantly using phrases instead of proper words then I would be concerned but as I'm not I cba to overthink it

Much the same way people write posts on here in the 3rd person, can be endearing to some / annoying to others.

I think the "each to their own" comment supersedes that, people add it before or after they have a pop at someone's preferences just to justify then making the comment in te first place, they don't agree with it, but have to comment then add the each to their own comment just so the OP or anyone else doesn't get too offended.
