"Any ideas of foods or tips from experience? Please share "
Eat a small amount in the morning, like a banana, then go for a run/bike/pick your favourite.
That kickstarts your cycle for the day. |

Don't eat anything until after two hours from getting up, during that two hours try doing as much physical exercise as possible until your stomach feels like your throats been cut, then eat!
Repeat that at dinner time and don't eat two hours before going to bed..... Failing that try worms |

The old 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day' cliché holds to be true. The right foods at this time of the day is like throwing a log on a wood burning stove.
Look at eating around 400 calories of protein, healthy fats and fibre, within an hour of waking up. These three food sources provide a good nutrient base for your metabolism.
Three possible options for a good breakfast would be;
Omelette with avacado, broccoli and hot pepper, spinach can also be used. Avacado replaces sugars with healthy fats.
A shake made with soy milk, strawberries, cinnamon and whey protein is another good option. The strawberries increase fibre and make you feel fuller, whey stimulates muscle growth, more muscle means an increase in metabolism.
Finally, Yoghurt topped with fresh fruit and high fibre cereal. Natural yoghurt as it has no added sugar.
Hopefully this helps. |

I have found this to work
Now I'm not saying it's the correct way to do it or that anybody medical would recommend it I'm just saying for me personally it always works
Have a pig out for a day
When your body is used to having the same intake every day and doing the same excerise every day it's becomes accustomed to it and your weight loss will slow down
When that happens to me I tend to just have one day where I stop watching what I eat and have a blow out, you will gain a pound or two the following day but the weeks to follow it speeds up again because you've changed your body's routine |

truthfully though im not eating 'clean enough' to kinda justify it, or im not confident enough that it wont just damage a week of the Slimming World plan.. |

Protein and some fruits and most veg, Also exercise boosts it, doesnt have to be much just more than you normally do. I've recently lost 3stone - part of a long journey, lots more to lose, but starting to understand my body more and what it requires For me to lose weight. Eating regular meals can also help too but of the right foods. |

You can raise your metabolism slightly by doing some cardio. The effect doesn't last long. I am unaware of any research that shows that any foodstuffs do this.
Caffiene does it too, for a short period. |
