"Hahaha spoke to soon. Think that's the end of Rossi
Rossi hasnt rode well for ages" so should everyone that is further down the championship than him and the rest of the Yamaha riders just go home too then...?
Yes today one Yamaha finished in front but it's rare....he finished 2nd recently on a bike that is lacking. Even when he retires from actually racing it won't be the end of him... as there is his vr46 team and the rest of what he does. He is still 3rd in the championship and had he not been collected by an over enthusiastic MM would have been closer still.
Hopefully Yamaha will start listening to what all the riders are saying about the bike and help make it better for next year..
To say he is finished because of a bad result when he is still competitive is just a stupid comment. |

Trust me when I say I am a huge Vale fan but 7th competitive? Not really. Ok we all know the Yamaha isn't great and yes he is 3rd in the championship but he normally comes through on race day. He just went backwards today and it cannot be just the bike. I didn't say he should quit, I just pointed out what many a Rossi fan are saying and that is there several more competitive riders now. |

To say he's not at his prime now then yes. But he is still competitive and most people had issues with the older Ducati. It wasn't just him.
He will still be involved in moto gp long after he is no longer a rider but till he is not competitive there is still a place for him . So to say it's the end is a stupid comment in my mind. Anyone in the top 10 of the championship is not finished. And he could still finish 2nd. Despite his age and everything else.
He had never been the same since the tragic lose of his friend and then the accident he had himself which was his first bad accident ever. I am not deluded he is no longer the young rider he once was.... but his talent is undeniable... And the fitness levels it takes... not many men his age could do so.

And stayed on and sorry but 3rd is competitive. Shall MM go home on the day he ended up out of the points as he had a bad day. |

I accept he isn't the young champ he once was. But today the only reason a Yamaha is sitting 3rd in the championship is due to the rider.. even Yamaha have made a public apology to all their factory riders regarding the issues.
.to say he's not doing as well as he once did..fine. to say he's finished... well as I said...that's a stupid comment...
