The scar thats left behind wouldn't bother me as I've seen some pics of ladies on here who I think by looking at their pics have also had it done and have disguised it with a tattoo
Thanks for all your replies and kind words but it's just how I feel and Andy I'd pretty good at getting the right camera angle !!

Look up BAAPS registered surgeons. Find one that specialises in tummy tucks. Talk to them about what you hope to achieve. Be aware of things that could go wrong. Good care of the scar and you'd just have a faint white line. Good luck. x |

I Want my tight solid tummy back. Giving birth separated my tummy muscles and no amount of gym work will give me my firm belly back. I can slim back to my size 8 but even then at that size my belly still wasn't firm. I've been to two consultations with a popular large cosmetic surgery company. They explained and talked me through so much. Yes you'll have a scar from near hip to hip. However that will fade to next to nothing over time. I'm definitely having it done around Xmas / new year time. I dont have any stretch marks so im def Looking forward to it. If it's what you OP, then go for it. |

I'm deffinately getting it done as I have support from Andy too which is helping me with my decision although he says I look fine as I am but it's all down to self confidence

"an acquaintance of mine had it done and I was shocked at the length of recovery time, she also had post operative problems. However she now has a lovely flat stomach."
All I'm aiming for is the end result.... a lovely flat stomach
But thank for the reply
I just want to hear as many experiences as possible

My friend had one done on the NHS, she had had two sets of twins within a year of each other and her stomach was left really saggy, they made a right mess, problem with the NHS is they just do the job that needs doing and don't bother with the cosmetics after, so she still had to save and pay to have it tidied up privately after |

"From a male perspective I would get one done, and when I lose the weight I want to I will most probably look into it.
If it really makes you unhappy as you are, and can afford to get it done by a reputable surgeon then do it. "

"I think you look great, could you perhaps try tummy flattening exercises if tummy is worrying you. XXX"
I had a wash board stomachs after 3kids
It was having a hysterectomy that ruined things for me as they cut your stomach muscles and no amount of exercise will help as I've tried for many years x |
