There are, as if anybody cares, 132 days to go until Christmas lands in our laps once again.
Many of us are yet to take our summer holidays, the children have not gone back to school, the August Bank Holiday is still a fortnight away.
So why oh why for the love of all that is righteous and decent were Card Factory in Birmingham stocking their shelves with bloody Christmas cards yesterday?

The charity shops have got their cards on the shelves too.
Some people live on very limited incomes and can only manage Christmas by buying a small thing every month, I think it's a good idea to have cards available now for that reason. |

not xmas related,, but on the theme of things out of sync.. i went into the supermarket to see about buying a paddling pool and an inflatable ring.. and they had NOTHING.. apparently if i wanted Summer related garden 'toys' should have got it all 2/3 weeks ago..
