Yes folks second glass tbf I deserve it. I have been shopping for a new car today and had to.endure the sales people treating me like an idiot.
In their defence I am when it comes to cars but I honestly thought one chap was going to pat me on the head and tell me it was okay at one point |

I've owned a car, but never a house...
Theres nothing wrong with buying off the trader, most of the time you get a better deal anyway, you just have to do your homework and know what you are looking for. Surely that has to be better than dealing with some hair-gelled tosser in a car dealership....

Yeah, the Auto Trader.
You just have to know what you want/common faults so you don't get taken for a mug.
People like cash too. I always buy in cash, take what you want to pay, less a couple hundred in one pocket, and then offer that, make sure they see the cash because poeple love the soght of money. Have whatever it takes to make up the asking in another pocket, a few hundred more in a different pocket etc.... |

Do your research on the type of car, current market value & how much you want to spend.
I've bought cars from dealerships & privately via auto trader. The easiest option to date has been from the massive car dealership near Shepherd's Bush with the initials CG (not sure if I'm allowed to say the name). My car has been bloody brilliant & I know of many other satisfied customers too |

"I've had a couple of beers....
I generally don't trust dealers, but I bought my last truck from one and was rally pleased..." At least with a reputable dealer you have some comeback when things go wrong .
With private sales the vehicle is probably over priced and in addition you have no warranty. You are also ruñning the risk of buying either a stolen vehicle or one with outstanding finance .
The reality is that most car deakerships work hard for their money and margins are small. |

What the actual fuck are you on about?
Overpriced? There isn't a mark-up that dealers need. Also, you can check if it's stolen/has outstanding finance online. If the owner won't wait for you to do that then bollocks to 'em.
The only thing a dealership has above a private seller is that they are often willing to offer a warranty. I had my reasons for buying my last truck from a dealer and it certainly wasn't tha thit was cheaper..... |

Depends on the cause of the headache!
I think it used to be called 'the hair of the dog'

"Yes folks second glass tbf I deserve it. I have been shopping for a new car today and had to.endure the sales people treating me like an idiot.
In their defence I am when it comes to cars but I honestly thought one chap was going to pat me on the head and tell me it was okay at one point "
Did you ask your dad for the money in the end? |

"I want wine but I don't want a whole bottle and I have nobody with whom to share
You can always just have a few glasses and save the rest for tomorrow?"
I really don't drink much. If I have a couple of glasses tonight, the rest if the bottle is likely to go to waste because I won't want it before it's gone manky. |

There's always the 'fridge. You've got a couple of days before it's undrinkable |

I know. I just tend not to want an entire bottle in a week.
I'd buy baby bottles but they work out far too expensive. |

"When I say I don't drink much, most months I have zero units. Averaged over the year I'm probably still in single figures per month."
Yeah, alcohol is not my weapon of choice.

If I had a couple of glasses tonight, I'm unlikely to want more for weeks. |

White or pink.
Red usually tastes sour to me and gives me a banging headache within half an hour. |
