Make the first move with people.
Maybe I'm just a little too frightened (Mr) of making myself look silly? I can flirt for England whilst online, but I'm a totally different person in real life.... so I think anyway!
Mrs M is shy, but also gorgeous! so men tend to speak to her quite a bit, approachable and friendly, and has often had male attention.
So am I just too scared, or am I really that bloody bad? Lol

"How did you cope going to your swinging club before your wife started going with you"
I went there as a single male just to socialise, maybe a little flirty but only over a course of 8 months!
Now Mrs M is with me I have more confidence in myself, but still find it hard to flirt face to face with someone I may like.... don't know if that makes any sense to you?

Completely relate to this. We really struggle initiating contact at a club. Particularly me (Mr). Absolutely fine when we're approached by other and can interact and socialise well, but it's when we see someone we fancy and would like to have fun with, we have no idea how to break the ice.
Occasionally we'll just sit by or near them in the hope they may approach us, which is awful isn't it?? Lol |

Is it just the fear of rejection? For me it is and thats always held me back, but at a club as a single male I don't like to make the move as I don't want to come across as sleazy, I just hope someone approaches me, I try to make it a little obvious if someone has caught my eye but as a rule I just go with the I tension of having a laugh, kinda takes the pressure off |

Basically, I'd think you would just go up to them and introduce yourselves. You'll find out pretty quickly whether they have interest or not. Then just ask the people you've met about themselves. Once the ice is broken, you'll relax. |

Same here. If im approached then im fine but if I see someone I fancy then going upto them and starting a conversation is impossible.
No idea what to say and even if we get talking im scared to bring it round to sex and would she / they like to play |

I quite happy speak to most people at clubs, although I do like the social side of things.
even if I not speaking to anyone I could potential have a bit of fun with I can never just sit in silence. there always a good bit of banter to be had.

Your verifications suggest that shyness is not a big issue for you. |

Most of our verifications are from social meets, with old friends I have made during my time as a single male, and was still shy back then too. |

It's kind of just like learning to drive. Hard, nervous at first, but once you keep doing it it becomes easier.
What you fear will happen generally doesn't when talking to strangers. |
