Just curious as to why I only ever get viewed and messaged from blokes? It's flattering don't get me wrong  but not what I'm looking for. Is it something to do with my profile? Or do other guys have the same issue? |

The vast majority is gays then trans followed by occasional couples. Most contact from women is just the odd fabbed pic from them. I never usually message just because of a fab though. |

We all get the same thing. Treat it as a little bit of insight into what the ladies and couples have to endure and be thankful you don't get as many messages from people outside your stated preferences as they do. |

you can set your filters to say you're not looking for men. then they won't be able to look at you.

Except that's men bothering people who are straight and could potentially fancy them. A lot of the gay guys message straight guys that they have zero chance with

I was puzzled by that too, until I found out that many women and couples on here wouldn't like to play with bi guys. Don't ask me why: I haven't figured that out yet.
The result is that many bi men masquerade as straight. I presume they are hopeful that you might be masquerading too. |

I've changed my filters before.. changed them back again now.. but agreed I don't mind friendly conversation etc. Just wondered if it was something about my profile or if everyone had similar experiences.. but any suggestions to improve it would be appreciated  |

If you message them first, they can message you back. Although I don't have any filters on, I have had many conversations with straight guys, usually lighthearted banter about a forum topic or something similar |

If the amount of attention I received from a particular group that I wasn't interested in became an issue for me I'd block them... My filters are down the amount I receive it's not an issue to me
Use the tools the site provides if it is. I've not looked at your bottom Op I'm sure it us nice though. |

OP how will a woman know what she's after until they have seen your profile and read it?
Same with the bi/gay gents on here.. they wont know your sexuality until they click your profile to have a read |

I sometimes find myself looking at lush ladies and looking at their veris to see of I might have a chance or not : (

Ditto. I'm completely straight and not looking for any involvement with guys, but it doesn't hurt to suss out the competition (depressing as that can be!), or see what type of guy a particular woman seems to go for. Looking at guys' profiles can also provide pointers for improving your own. Then of course there is the fact that there are vastly more blokes than ladies on here, so by the law of averages a good percentage of views will be from males, who may not be as straight as they make out. |

Views are nice though , because I'm bi : I don't fancy every woman that looks at me and she won't fancy me, same with men. Maybe a guy looking at you is looking at you on behalf of his FB or partner. Take it in a positive light. |
