I like a well crafted status, often provides the impetus for an opening first message that the profile sometimes doesn't.

Yes i look at statuses and if one makes me giggle i sometimes tend to.message them

It's another way of filtering people of our friends list and hotlist. We like a whinge occasionally but constant negative updates are off putting.

Not local updates as they're just plain weird.

I glance at them but some are irritating!!

E.g. "Going to leave fab shortly, not sure this is for me"..
