I was reading this about sleep. Getting less than six hours sleep a night can lead to an early grave, UK and Italian researchers have warned.
They said people regularly having such little sleep were 12% more likely to die over a 25-year period than those who got an "ideal" six to eight hours.
Five hours is insufficient for most people and being drowsy in the day increases your risk of having an accident if driving or operating dangerous machinery.

Another insomniac here.
I was actually taken into hospital at two years old so that my mum could have a break from me, and her and my new baby sis could have couple of good nights undisturbed sleep! |

I seldom get more than 6h on a good day during week days, tend to catch up on my sleep during weekends.
Whenever I can, I would have a power nap in the afternoon. |

Over eight hours physical work out in the garden yesterday, sea breezes all day then a hot bath at night, but still no sleep.
Doctor has given up trying to find a sleeping pill that will knock me out at night but leave me alert during the day. |
