Funniest one that has stuck with me was years ago when I worked for a firm of solicitors, one of the articled clerks had a cheque made out to Nottingham Cunty Council as a result of a typo.

We drove past a place a few weeks back where a firm's signage was missing an O, read Cunty Windows. |

Ooh that's just reminded me of the hairdressers that opened near where I used to live called "Dead Swanky" and made the mistake of using screw on letters for its signage - was a matter of days before the S was swiped for the first time, and probably a couple of weeks before they painted the letters on!!
