too touchy?

Am I being too touchy or taking it too personally if people do not reply?

I'm not a touchy person but I can't help thinking a simple no thanks does not take much effort?

I know women get inundated here and haven't got the time to reply but many ladies will expect a well written informative and personal email and then just to ignore the effort?

No Thank You- 3 words really take that much time?

You need a fab mentality when you're here. Life and rules differ to outside.

No reply means no thanks at the moment and don't make contact again. It's unrealistic for many people here to reply to more than a fraction of the messages they get.

To stay here you need to accept and get used to this.

To touchy. You need a thick skin.

No thank you sometimes opens up a can of worms. The last person I said no thanks to, I received 8 messages of wanting a full description of why. I had to block in the end.

I always read a profile first. If I'm not interested or they haven't read my profile..I find it easier to just delete.

How long do you think it takes to write it 50 or 100 times? And then read and deal with the follow up whhhhhy messages and abuse?

If that were you, and you had limited time as we all do, would you rather use that time chatting to those who interest you or messaging those that don't?

Do you send messages to people you aren't interested in? Why expect anyone else to?

Choosing to spend your time sending a message does not entitle you to dictate the use of someone else's time.

You don't see the reason but your circumstances are different. Just realise there is a reason and accept no reply is probably a no thank you.

I always used to try and be polite and say a no thank you to any message that I wasn't interested in the person sending it, way to many are followed with why not or give me a chance yet again clogging up my inbox!

Try not to take it personally when people don't! I have messages people before that I have chatted with before and some meets that I messaged and just deleted my message without replying so it's just time to move on.

I didn't realise a reply could lead to abuse or why messages back! That is sad

There's also the fact that replying means my mail filters will no longer apply to that person. If I block mail from men, everyone I've said no thank you to can still message me.

You can see why I might not want to give a load of men I'm not interested in immunity from my mail filters (unless I blocked every single one individually. And then they'd moan about being blocked "for no reason")?

thats because your a decent guy. I think the only way you could understand is by having a womans mailbox for a few days.

When you message someone try and forget about and if you get a reply its a bonus

O o O oo

Some people reply, some don't. If you accept this your time on the site would be more enjoyable
