"How much pain are we talking for a nipple piercing? Nipple clamp pain? Breastfeeding pain? Or even more painful than that?
Mrs x"
You know that pain when clamps are taken off and the blood rushes back and you're going 'aarrrgghhh' for quite some time as it feels almost unbearable ...... well, it's not as bad as that and doesn't last as long. It's probably fair to say it's a sharper pain though and one nipple usually hurts more. For me it was a 'grip the sides of the bed' and mutter 'fuck' kind of pain ... I've had it done twice after letting previous piercings heal for breastfeeding so it can't have been that bad.

I used to work in a shop with a piercing studio attached and always recommended that ladies (of ANY age) had both done at once, and had rings as they're less obvious when you don't want them showing |

"Can I still use my nippie clamps if they pieced?? "
In theory yes .... though I wouldn't try until the piercings are totally healed. You might have to experiment with where you place them so they're comfortable (I *know* they're not supposed to be comfortable in the conventional sense, but you know what I mean). Or, if they don't feel right with the jewellery still in, just take it out. The important thing though is to be healed - you obviously don't want to traumatise the piercings if they're still at all raw, sore and/or weeping. Everyone heals at different rates but my piercer reckons nipples can take up to a year to completely heal for some people.

Age is only a state of mind.
If you are questioning whether you are too old, you feel like you may be.
If you are a little reluctant and you are using age as an excuse, then ask yourself whether you really want a piercing.
If you want to be psychoanalysed, I am quite happy to offer a couch for you to lay on. However, I am not qualified and am likely to explore your inner depths in a way that would get me struck off had I been! |
