The English language has, I believe, the biggest vocabulary so any words will hardly ever be used. I wondered if anyone had any particular favourites that do not often see the light of day? Here is a chance to give them their 15 minutes of fame, they don't have to be arcane or polysyllabic, just roll off the tongue nicely and hardly get seen. Here are three of mine:
ersatz
heretofore
abhor

If your vocabulary acquires any further erudition, then I fear that you may become intoxicated with the exuberance of your own verbosity.....

Shall we fight over whose it is more
And what about ... "Uber" which is now attached to so many things... The French are much more fussy and wont even allow the word computer into their language... |

"Obstreperous rumbunctious rollicking rumpy-pumpy are some of my favourite words......... and deeds. "
Aaahh yes, rambunctious, a fine example of onomatopoeia in my opinion, many would disagree I'm sure
