Just ordered mine.. and can not wait for the new family members to arrive next week 
Gonna turn them into Butterflies,, should be a fun activity to do then set them free..
Always on the hunt for nature based activities..
What things did you get up too as children in the holidays? |

lol tickles me thinking back
used to sweep the muddy floor with a branch with leaves on it.. then try and cover it up with disguarded carboard boxes |

Aw have fun with the caterpillars. I love them. I lovingly cultivate a small nettle patch for the red admirals. This means I get lots of caterpillars and they often have their chrysalis' hanging from my walls and window sills. I love watching them. It's amazing how fast they morph. |

Have been crabbing twice this week with my little one! Cheap, easy entertainment. He would love to watch the caterpillars transform. Nice when they still get excited by simple things :0) |

If you have a garden building little homes for wildlife is fun
The peeps and I recently built a bird house and feedee, it looks rubbish but the birds dont seem to mind |
