Kik or WhatsApp?

Got to be honest, I didn't know Kik was a mobile phone thing only...
Now we're being questioned about it gets us to thinking. What do people think is best these days?
Skype on the computer?
WhatsApp or Kik on the phone? |

On my mobile I use kik it means using a user name of my choice and nit giving my mobile number out. I can still prove in genuine without giving sometimes the ability to stalk or abuse me |

Thanks guys.
I have never used Kik but went with WhatsApp because someone suggested it. Not sure I want to have them both on there, but would that be a big problem? |

Am I miss something here op? They are both mobile messaging apps. Make your mind up and chose which to use! Kik for no number shenanigans and what's app for more personal interaction  |

Kik is the way forward ......giving your number out can be pretty dangerous as links you to your face book and other apps which maybe linked ...... plus have a brilliant group chat on kik  |

I have kik on my tablet, used for adult fun only.
I use watsapp to send free (clean) pictures to family or friends lol |

Honestly like What's app more but it means giving number out. But kik you have a user name and no need to give number out so can not be stalked. |

Kik preferably but if you trust the person then whatsapp. Maybe kik as a test and if they pass send them you're number for whatsapp  |

Kik for me for the reasons mentioned already. Never take your personal security too lightly. And that goes for both sexes... |

Sounds like Kik's the way forward. Persec has to be at the top of everyone's agenda. Giving out personal info to someone you've chatted to on here for a little while is still a massive risk. |

Yeah well that's what I mean, I use kik where I don't want to give out my number (...and still partake in personal shenanigans) but where there is greater trust etc, whatsapp is a further option! |
