To Beppy or not to Beppy (not for those of a sensitive nature)
Jump to: Newest in thread
Ok, so fair warning:
DO NOT READ THIS THREAD IF PERIOD TALK UPSETS YOU!
Mainly because I have the mirena coil fitted, I can have times when I get indiscriminate bleeds and also periods that are extremely light but, that go on (seemingly) forever
So I've been looking at some of the alternatives out there to the traditional
I've read quite a bit about mooncups, but the user feedback I've read seems very mixed
I am ideally wanting something that I can use on one of my 'bleeding very lightly on a totally random day ' days, that I can still have sex while using
Any fabbers used the Beppy sponges? Any feedback, pros/ cons?
(did forum search and found lots of threads about sex on periods that mentioned Beppy / mooncups, but couldn't find anything that really answered the pros/ cons, user feedback)

"I liked my moon cup til it randomly leaked on me
You absolutely cannot have sex with a moon cup in. That's my only feedback for this thread, sorry!"
This is a common theme I've found while trying to research the alternatives, read some very messy tales!
the Beppy sponges seems a better alternative, but I've not been able to find as many reviews for it and being able to have sex IS the whole point for me
Thank you though |

"Never tried one but these are what I would go for if I needed to. Although I do worry about how to get them out.
"
This is my main worry, not been able to read much real experience of it
"
I'm sure last time I done a search there were a few threads
"
I have tried and lots under period, but nothing that says much about the usability, just lots of mentions of it |

"I've got the same coil as you. My periods did eventually stop. Took a few years but they did 100 per cent stop. Couldn't be happier lol. "
They don't for everyone. I'm on my second and they are lighter and don't last as long but i still get them |

I pray (to a god I don't believe in lol) that it may happen one day!

They will stop ! . I'm on my third one and they've stopped. Worth the wait and recommend this type of coil to anyone. |

From a regularly-endowed male perspective, you can tell that a beppy is in when you go really deep. But it's really effective and doesn't interrupt or stop anything. |

I use beppy sometimes but they an arse to get out. I find lying in the bath and forcing water into ur vagina works as it get soaking and then gravity will help push it down. But I've had a good few hours of panic before getting it out. |
