Ok, so i got my chores done and i do miss doing the hosted threads, so sunday afternoon fabbers, old, new, lurking, perving, shy or not..pull up a pew and come join us for an afternoon of friendly and light hearted banter.

I really recommend it. It was so much fun, everyone helps each other out and it's a good challenge |

large field here so cant hope to tame most of it and wouldnt want to.. mr and mrs crow bring their babies to show me, when they are fledglings..that's always a nice day. im sure they are just shouting at them the rest of the time ..the cats just want to make me a crazy cat lady ( both rescued strays) they both live the life of riley, yet are not called riley...lolol |

It's beautiful Suzy, been going 12 years to the same village. Always treated like family. Already booked for next year ot was like that in gozo near malta all really community orientated..sounds fabulous glad you have a second home like place to enjoy xxx
Yes I've heard gozo is like that. I would certainly like a second home in Corfu, must get working on hubby just got to do more european travelling but my love of the desert seems to overcome me and i end up in the states again x"

i decided to cancel all plans for this weekend i wasnt going with anyone else, so no let downs happened..but ive needed it and ive enjoyed taking some time out..wont last for long though..im out next weekend |

i have apenchant for american men too...typical..lived in northern cali for nearly a year , but the landscape and expansive feeling i get in the desert cannot be bought or found anywhere else..ive been to a fair few states now..i love colorado, new mexico and northern cali too.dislike the east coast the land there is so sad to me.but its funny how one place,,just keeps a little piece of you and tugs at your heart x |

Sounds like you've had a great time travelling. We've done many of the Greek islands and we have that same feeling as you do for the states. It's hard to explain to others why we keep going back! |

I'm having a great day...the weather isn't bad and I've been sat in my mates hot tub and in the pool this afternoon (behaving myself I hasten to add).

I couldn't help but notice the slightly formal,even reverential way that people have been addressing you and so felt that I needed to post in an almost letter like format.
Then I realised it must have paragraphs too. And punctuation. With full stops. And my customary ellipses have been shelved temporarilly. However, i do still waffle on.
Any road up, I wish you and all your threadees a lovely evening and hope that we may take delight in meaningful conversation together.
