Hello without looking to cause a riot or begin a hate thread on myself I'm looking for some insight and help.

Does anyone ever have that one song or album that means so much to them from a time when they felt so lost and alone?

No matter the opinion of others you love the lyrics and melody.

This is the issue I have, when I was younger and feeling low I used to always turn to my lost prophets Cd for to lift me up even met the band in 2004 in London.

My problem is with the lead singer being a convicted paedophile which I can never condone in the slightest, is it sacralidge to still want to listen to the tracks they made from my past? I know the other band members weren't at fault but he was the one who wrote most of the material and it all feels just a little tainted now..

Does it make me bad for needing to still hear the material?

Mines Eminem, the Eminem show really and Encore.

He's a misogynic pig but at the time it really got me through listening to his songs.

Now I just can't because violence against women and rape glamorisation lyrics.

As for still listening to those songs, you do you, if you can and don't get the creeps then fine - if not then don't. Just don't give them any more of your money.

Eminem I hear ya on him I guess it's a psychological thing at the time you just click then when you look back you think how? There'll be no money spent on them that's for sure
