"Good morning ladies and gents.
Hope it's an ok question for a lazy Sunday. "
A sensible question for a change on here!
The sun on my skin, my aches and pains, my adult children saying "mummy, just waking up to a new day with optimism really! |

"A walk in the beach when it's windy and rough. Sea spray on my lips and lots of fresh sea air rammed into my lungs in a very short space of time. "
A walk on the beach is always a good way to feel alive |

"A very early run out on a fresh morning on mountain roads
Sounds good "
Absolutely is, even when cloud on mountain and can't see more than few steps in front. Come join me, on the mountain |

Not lazy, but going for a run at sunrise, breathing in the fresh air, listening to the dawn chorus makes me feel alive |

Walking along a deserted windswept beach, looking out to sea watching the waves crashing, and singing at the top of my voice "I can see for miles, and miles, and miles" |

Breathing,
accomplishing something I didn't think I would,
setting smiles on other peoples faces when I'm there or done something
Catching up with old mates
Feeling the sun on my face, a small breeze on my skin
Having a meet off fab, that point when the guy had just pounced,
and again after we've had fun
Singing on a local karaoke
Playing the meat loaf song"alive" from the bar out of hell 3 album and driving around seeing life differently
When I've been at work for 24 he's and I get home and taste my first coffee in 25hrs
I quite like this subject... Thank you |

Getting out in nature. Some lovely forestry walks near me and I love to take the kids and dog out and just take photos of the views.
Also love walking on a beach on a cold winter day, the sea air whipping your hair and the salty smell being a calming reassurance.
Little things. It's all about the little things. |

Almost binning it on a fast bike ride, the next 30secs are just an adrenalin fueled rush..
At the other end of the scale.
Lying flat on my back in a field just watching clouds drift past in a bright blue sky.

I get this!! Spending so much time in hospital with the other half has certainly changed how I look at life. I'm looking forward to our 1st picnic, walk on a beach, lunch on a week day... |

Yeah doing stuff that scares me, such as roller coasters and meeting new people for the first time makes me feel alive. Sex does too. But nothing makes me feel more alive than seeing one of my favourite bands. Music can do wonderful things to a person's soul. |

Traveling on a motorway on the bike, the back end steps out but you save it.
Doing 155 on public roads, on the IOM on an R6
Doing 52 mph downhill on a bicycle, when you think of the protection you have, it is even more scary.
Arguing with a woman lol |

That moment you first dip your toes into the sea and the breeze is blowing through your hair.
Intense, passionate, animalistic sex when covered in each other's sweat looking into each other's eyes amazed at what just happened whilst trying to catch your breath. |

There are a few instances that pop in to my mind when I ask myself what makes me feel truly alive.
Walking in the wind and rain along clifftops as the sea crashes against them below.
Other times, glorious and sunny mornings with dazzling azure sky overhead.
Most commonly, when I am floating on my board after catching a wave that challenges me and the thrill and exhilaration preceding it. There's often a serene moment of stillness that follows that allows you to appreciate it fully and comprehend what's all around you.
Okay, hippy moment over |

For me, it has to be being out on my motorbike. The adrenaline rush and outright power of it, is a drug in itself for me. The way my body and what I do with it manipulates the machine underneath me. The physics of it is mind boggling but somehow it works. |
