not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

Too simple a solution for some, they'd rather try/ hope to change others rather than use the tools to prevent ..

Why wouldn't you use the tools to prevent an issue.

I've given up asking that question. Some prefer to complain and whinge. Plus it makes them look popular. I prefer a quiet drama free existence.

Yep..I fink you're right.. I'm sure some get off on the attention, I've no filters at the moment if it becomes an issue ..let's think ....

Somewhere in North Norfolk

To be fair, it's not always an ideal solution.

For example, I'd rather not have to block all men simply because a minority don't have any social skills. It means guys, forum users especially, can't message me about other things.

More detailed filters would help, like being able to filter out smokers. That would be really useful for me.

No...but you can untick all interests and what you're looking for. That way you won't show up in many searches and cuts down on the amount of chancers thus negating the need to block all men.

That's true and it does help.

A lot of people don't know it's possible though, which is why they don't do it.

The filters we have available, without tricks like that, are very blunt, unweildy objects. A bit more flexibility would help a lot.

Some people who complain only do so to say "oh look how popular /gorgeous /attractive I am".

It's the same when some post their 'looked at me' score or angle for pics to be fabbed.

It's the Facebook generation. Your value is measured by how many 'likes' you can get.
