So they've remade, Porridge, Till Death do us part, Hancock, Steptoe and others.....

http://www.standard.co.uk/stayingin/tvfilm/bbc-lost-sitcoms-season-teases-steptoe-and-son-hancock-s-half-hour-and-till-death-do-us-part-a3312171.html

What would you like to see back?

Ideal with Johnny Vegas was brilliant.

When Delboy falls through the bar and Trigger makes a face, it's the funniest thing on TV, ever!

Leave things be. Don't want any of my favourites redone as they'd likely to be crap.

Saying that, a lot of the news these days is Brasseye and The Day Today made real

Well Ed O'Neil is in modern family, Katey sagal has been in tonnes of things but sons of anarchy probably the main one she's known for now, Christina Applegate tonnes of films probably Anchorman 2 most recent I saw her in but Bud I've never seen in anything else or Marcy. I'm sure I've seen Jefferson but can't think of anything of note.

Anyways I can't think of a sitcom that didn't end strongly as it was once was except for Fawlty Towers so that gets my vote but could never be made the same in these times.

They tried that Rock and Chips a few years back. Was never going to work.

Why remake?? Why not do something original and form another classic? With the majority of sitcoms the jokes are principally the same.

I love all the old greats, only fools is my favourite but even that went downhill a bit when they brought wives into the mix. It was best when it was just the three of them. Remakes never live up to the originals I don't think. I've started watching Friday night dinner which is quite funny.

Only Fools and Horses never tires.

Hancock's Half Hour is forever amusing.

But leave them alone and make something new.

BTW when MASH was on I did not even realise it was supposed to be a comedy!

Christina Applegate was in the new Ghostbusters film.

Another vote for bringing back Frank Spencer.

Though I am not big on remakes, Still Open All Hours works well.

Titz Towers, North Notts

None. There are 100s of people with ideas for new comedies and I'd like to see 6 of these given a pilot.

None - I think their beauty is in their time capsuled splendour.

Though Acorn Antiques, if only Victoria was alive, would be great.
