my sons room is often littered with stray lego bricks..I have to wear slippers before entering...not been caught out yet "
I have always walked around bare footed.. think i might need to carry a torch in future..  |

When i worked in a nursery lego always seemed to fin its way under rugs/mats, crawling across the room and kneeling on it hurt.... alot. How i managed not to swear on the many occasions escapes me  |

Once upon a time I bought some boots. They were heel-less ones, so the full weight is on the toes. They were insanely high with a huge platform, something like 8" overall, I'd guess.
The first time I put them on, when I stood up I found 2 nails had been left protruding from the sole of one boot, through into the inside. One was right where the ball of my foot went, the other in the middle of my instep. They both pierced the skin, which came as rather an unpleasant shock.
I then spent the next 4 hours in A&E waiting for a tetanus jab because mine was long out of date. |
