Windows mobile is a great platform - getting the windows 10 anniversary update next week btw.
App developers target whichever system they choose. I don't know if there's some option to sideload it and don't work in tech. |

there are ways to load android apps onto windows phone, but it's incredibly difficult, and might lead to a damaged device id you're not careful. also, if it's not a high end windows phone it won't be worth the hassle
if you don't mind about it being not very portable, you may have some luck using an android emulator on a windows computer or laptop (though you'll most likely be restricted to using it at home only)
leapdroid is a good one - it's free and you can load apps into it from .apk files that have been downloaded (but most importantly it's free)
the most ideal solution is getting an android device, which might be a good shout especially if you have a need for a spare phone. a bog basic "wouldntuseitasmymainphone" android handset could be had for under £40 in some cases |

Good advice.
I'm a huge fan of Windows Mobile. Best platform for me. And windows 10 is fantastic on them, with full synching of everything. The anniversary edition update adds some great new features and polishing to an amazing system.
From what I heat Grindr is pants. |

"I've been banned from Grindr. Not for being a lady but for soliciting (which I wasn't).
Met some interesting folk on it but mostly more time wasters and willy wavers than here "
The thumb was to the willy wavers and time waster comment...not for the alleged soliciting ting. |
